Mike Ianosi is a singer and composer, passionate about acoustic music and ethnic instruments. After two years of piano in his youth, he began to devote himself seriously to music in 2003, playing bass in several bands.
Since 2012, he has turned to the didgeridoo, which quickly became his true passion, while also exploring many other instruments: shamanic drum (bendir), daf, gong, jaw harps, xylophone, as well as string instruments such as the Greek bouzouki, guitar, and the Chinese erhu violin.
Tenzen Hu began her musical journey in 2015 with the recorder, before expanding her universe to include the clarinet, harmonic flute, hulusi, and other wind instruments. Since 2018, she has enriched her path with medieval singing and piano lessons.
✨ Their meeting in April 2019 marked the beginning of a shared adventure: Mike & Tenzen, a duo that blends the depth of shamanic sounds with the warmth of folk. Just a few months later, in September 2019, they recorded their first album Vibrations of the Universe. Since then, they have continued their musical exploration with their second album Life, Earth, Dreams, and are now working on new compositions for a fourth album — one that leans even more toward shamanic inspiration.
In live performances, Mike & Tenzen create a soothing, vibrant, and immersive atmosphere, where each instrument resonates like an invitation to an inner journey. Their mission is simple: to share the power of acoustic and vibrational instruments, offering a moment of calm, inspiration, and connection.
